This College reserves the right of canceling any bookings without prior notice. All booking payments will be refunded within 14 days in case of cancellation of bookings by the College.
Any group that uses the College must have a person or leader aged 18 or above, who will accompany the group throughout and be accountable for the supervision and discipline of its members during their stay.
Hirers/users should arrive and depart from this College at specified hours. Hirers/users are requested to participate in their programmes and take their meals punctually everyday according to the scheduled times so as not to cause inconvenience to others.
No fund-raising, collection of money contribution or selling any goods without prior approval from the College.
Vehicles of the hirers/users and visitors are not allowed to park in the College without prior approval from the College.
This College is not responsible for any loss or damage of personal belongings. Hirers/users are advised not to bring along their valuables.
Hirers/users must dress properly in the College. All hirers/users and visitors are expected to conduct themselves properly so as not to cause any disturbance or inconvenience to others.
Any activity in contravention to the laws of Hong Kong or in breach of public order such as drinking, gambling, fighting and drug taking are strictly forbidden. Offenders will be asked to leave the College and will be held responsible for all consequences, and all fees paid will not be refundable.
Permission must be sought if hirers/users wish to decorate any rooms/dormitories. Such decorations must not damage the walls or indoor facilities.
Hirers/users must not move any furniture or indoor facilities without prior approval from the College. Any moved furniture/indoor facilities must be moved back to place.
Do not remove any posted materials on the notice boards.
Please keep quiet, especially after 11:00p.m.
Please turn off all electricity sources when leaving any rooms.
No private connection of electricity sources is allowed. Electrical wires and switches must not be connected or replaced without permission.
In order to protect the beauty of the natural environment, wilful destruction of vegetation is prohibited.
Cooking is prohibited in all areas inside the College campus.
Smoking is prohibited in all areas inside College campus.
Climbing on College equipment, buildings, fences, walls and trees is not permitted.
The kitchen, staff quarters, storerooms are restricted areas to all hirers/users. Do not enter any premises/facilities which have not been reserved by your organization.
Hirers/users are not permitted to use the swimming pool without advance booking. Those who reserve the swimming pool within a particular time can only use the swimming pool and its associated/facilities with the presence of two licensed lifeguards on official duty.
Hirers/users must wear non-marking footwear while using the Sports Hall, Tennis Courts or Basketball Court.
To save energy, all water heaters will be switched off between 10:00a.m. to 6:00p.m. and 12:00 mid-night to 6:00a.m.
Please keep the dormitories clean at all times. Hirers/users must have the hired dormitories/facilities inspected by the College Administration before departing.
If any hirer/user has caused any damage(s) to the hired facilities, he/she must report the damage(s) to the College administration in the first instance. The hirer/user must pay for the damages.
Hirers/users must clearly understand the above regulations. The College Administration reserves the right to ask any hirers/users to leave in case of violation of these regulations. All fees paid will not be refundable.
The College will take every precaution to ensure the safety of the hirers. Nevertheless, any accidents that may occur to the hirers/users will be the responsibility of the group concerned.
It is a condition for the hirer/user to obtain a public liability insurance policy (with Li Po Chun United World College of Hong Kong as the joint insured) for the use and occupation of the premises and/or facilities of the College. The said policy must be forwarded to the College Administration at least three working days prior to the commencement of the event. The College will provide administrative assistance for organizing the public liability insurance, if necessary.
Other than point (27) above, the College reserves the right to request the hirer/user to obtain public liability insurance when it deems necessary.
The College reserves the right to add, delete, or alter the above regulations without prior notice to hirers/users.
